A six year old with a real National Hunt pedigree and every inch a chasing type, this son of
leading sire Getaway has shown ability between the flags and is a late–developing sort who is
set to come into his own this season.
A €55,000 purchase as a store, he didn’t see out his races in Irish points and a bumper at the
Punchestown Festival, but looked a different proposition switched to the UK in points here for
Tom Malone. He looked set to score on his second start, at Larkhill, only to be brought down
three out.
He finished a good second on his final of three starts for Tom, finishing in front of next–time–
out winner Tennessee Orange, who has since got off the mark in a novice hurdle under rules
for Alan King.
By Getaway and out of a Beneficial mare, Celtic Harmony is certainly bred for the job and is a
half–brother to two useful chasers, including nine–time winner Equus Dancer (Racing Post
Rating 135). Furthermore, their dam Celtic Cailin was a useful sort in Ireland, placing at
Graded 3 level on two occasions for Jessie Harrington.
Celtic Harmony is in full training and will be ready to run in September. He looks the type to
really progress with experience and looks outstanding value at £10,000 + VAT, which includes
all costs to 31st July 2025.
