A good-moving, scopey filly by Persian King, one of the most fashionable dual-purpose stallions in France, this exciting filly is nearly race ready and looks a sure-fire novice winner in this spring before going on to better things.
She ran three times in her native France, gaining experience on her first two starts before making it third time lucky in a 1m4f maiden on the flat. The second, fourth, fifth and sixth were all subsequent winners, so the form has worked out nicely. She made all the running and showed an excellent attitude in fending off the runner-up, a triple winner since.
She had a good break in the autumn and, as a filly that looks to be best suited to a decent surface, we felt it was better to look towards this spring onwards to get her started over here. She has been showing up very well in her work at home and is a filly with an excellent pedigree. Her dam was fourth at Listed level and is a full sister to two Group-class fillies in France, as well as being a half-sister to multiple Listed winner Life In Motion, who also placed at Group 1 level.
Persian King has been ticking along very well on the flat, but is attracting many of the top jumps breeders in France at present and is already on the board over jumps there.
Red Savannah will be ready to start off in a maiden/novice hurdle in the next month and she’s one we’ll be hoping can have a very successful season in mares’ company, with the aim of going for some black type in due course as she looks a classy filly in the making.
