Though we have not made any firm plans since Alan’s retirement we have turned to using two jockeys that have ridden plenty of winners for us in the past – David Noonan and Connor Brace. David has been riding for the yard for a number of years and has had nearly 100 rides for us to date. Hopefully that number will be rising over the coming season and we can reward him with some winners. Connor, a fellow Welshman from near Porthcawl, based with Fergal O’Brien through much of his career is another rider who we have often used in the past. There will no doubt be rides up for grabs for other jockeys so it will be interesting to see how the season develops.
