Having run a nice race on his chasing/handicap debut at Ludlow in November, it was great to see Airtothethrone take a step forwards and get off the mark at the second attempt over the larger obstacles with a game success at Taunton. Alan had to be at his strongest to fend off the determined challenge of the runner-up and there should be plenty more to come from this ex-Irish pointer, who should have plenty more to offer in the season ahead, having started in handicap chases off a workable mark.  Congratulations to his owner Caroline Wilson!
