Normandy King 1 Normandy King 2We have enjoyed a very successful six weeks or so with our youngsters and Normandy King became the latest of them to get off the mark over hurdles, winning in great style at Bangor on Saturday under Alan Johns.

Though he had fallen at Sedgefield on his latest outing, he showed promise that day in what were atrocious conditions and, though the ground was heavy again yesterday, he appeared to handle it well and drew clear up the straight to win by 16 lengths.

A son of King’s Theatre out of a half-sister to Battlecry and Value At Risk, I am sure he will improve further with experience and on better ground.
