It will come as no surprise to those of you reading this to hear that the new website has now been launched! I hope that you will spend a litle time reading through the website, and that you like what you see – plenty of horses for sale for those interested!
While the website represents a step forward on the technical side for Pant Wilkin stables, the photo shows the very early stages of what will soon be a new reception and office for myself. This will hopefully be ready by the end of July and I look forward to ‘moving in’ to the new building!
Myself, Carole and Andrea went to visit our Assistant Trainer Rhys Hughes yesterday afternoon, and I am delighted to report that he is in much better health and spirits. Rhys has unfortunately been quite ill recently so everyone at the yard was very relieved to hear that he is on the mend, and we are all looking forward to having him back at work in the near future.
Dave and Pauline Sutton (of the Saxon Daffodil partnership) were in this morning to see Celtic George, who is on the comeback trail having been off since finishing a promising 5th on his debut in a bumper nearly two years ago. As you can see from the photo (on left, Ross Coleman riding) he is a giant of a horse!
After the much-needed rain of the past couple of days (it’s now good to soft, soft in places at Royal Ascot!) it was a beautiful morning today which I’m sure was appreciated by the horses in the fields, pictured lazing in the sun.
