Following a three-day trip to Perth last week, Andrea was back in the horsebox yesterday for the journey to Kelso, where Makethedifference, a winner at Perth last Tuesday, will bid for a quick double in the feature handicap hurdle at 4.40pm.

It is obviously a marked step up in grade, but there is good prize-money on offer and, with the top-weight fully 20lbs off the 150 ceiling, he gets in at the bottom of the handicap. Hopefully he can record a second win in eight days!

Later in the week, Lamool could bid for a fourth novice success of the season over hurdles at Newton Abboton Friday, when we also have entries at Hexham.

The Tim Vaughan Racing 2015/16 Six to Follow competition will run from Thursday 1st October until Wednesday 1st June inclusive.
