IMG_7587Kalimantan has not been the easiest to train in recent times, so it was rewarding to see him return to winning ways in the selling hurdle at Worcester yesterday.

A dual winner over hurdles earlier in his career, he was running over obstacles for the first time in over two years and seemed to appreciate the return to jumping, as he hurdled well and showed a good attitude to draw clear after the last under Richard Johnson.

We’ll look for a similar contest for him next time, though there is also the possibility of going handicapping as well.

Earlier in the afternoon, exciting novice prospect Dadsintrouble fell on his chasing debut, but I am pleased to report that he is none the worse for that, whilst there was a promising reappearance run from Canton Prince (pictured), who finished second in the feature handicap hurdle.
