With Cheltenham just five days away we have been schooling several of our intended runners this morning.

Saint Are has been confirmed for all three of his options, including the RSA Chase, as we will wait to assess the likely opposition and ground before deciding on where he goes. He is pictured (nearside, Rob Kirk) schooling this morning with Our Island (Craig Messenger), who like Saint Are is owned by David Fox and will be kept in both the NH Chase and the Kim Muir – I would think if the ground stays good or better he will go for the four miler.

Bottman is confirmed in the Listed Novice’ handicap and the Grade 3 handicap chase on the Tuesday and hopefully he will get in one or other, though at this stage he needs a few to drop out in both contests. Jimbill (also confirmed for the Neptune Investment) and Judiciary have been kept in the Supreme Novices.

First Fandango (pictured left, Jason Kiely) has been confirmed in the Coral Cup and that is his target, though he will also be kept in the Martin Pipe race. He is in great form at home and we are looking forward to running him.
