A busy Monday, with two runners apiece at Plumpton and on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton! All four look to have a chance and hopefully we can start the week with a return to winning ways.

With some better ground finally on offer, we will be running several of our youngsters in the coming fortnight, including recent ex-flat recruit Beat The Tide, pictured right schooling last week under Evan David.

I think the news that A P McCoy will be retiring at the end of this National Hunt season took us all a little by surprise, but he has no records left to break and will retire as a 20-time Champion Jockey, something it is very hard to ever see anyone surpassing.  He has been riding better than ever this year and it was fitting to see him win his first Irish Hennessy yesterday just a day after announcing his retirement!
