Screen Shot 2016-04-20 at 08.25.15Following an extended period on the sidelines, Bucking The Trend has really made up for lost time this season, the eight year old son of Kayf Tara winning his second race of the campaign in great style at Ludlow yesterday under Alan Johns.

Given a very positive ride in front, his jumping was absolutely exemplary, as it had been when winning at Market Rasen in March, and though several came out of the chasing pack to try and mount a challenge, he showed a tremendous attitude to hold them off in convincing fashion.

It was a very nice pot to win, with over £11,000 to the winner, and I am delighted for his owners The Marinades, who have been rewarded for their patience with two wins in three starts from Bucking The Trend.
