Just over a fortnight after making her debut for us at Warwick, Broome Lane showed much-improved form to register her first win at the ninth attempt in a first-time hood, producing a brilliant round of jumping to win by nine lengths in the 3m2f handicap chase at Chepstow yesterday.

Always in the front rank under Tom O’Brien, she jumped her way to the front and never looked in any danger thereafter, the three-parts sister to the useful Seebright looking a progressive mare.   The handicapper will have his say, but she is open to plenty of improvement and we may look to bring her out again quickly on Friday, with options at Bangor and Fontwell Park.  Congratulations to her owner Wayne Jones!
