Be Bop Boru after winning at Ludlow on Tuesday

Considering the recent weather it was a surprise to have two National Hunt meetings go ahead yesterday, with Ludlow and Kempton Park both braving the elements.

I was very pleased to see Ski Sunday return to form at Kempton Park, finishing second in a competitive handicap hurdle.  He jumped well, went with plenty of enthusiasm and I am very hopeful that we can find an opening for him in the coming weeks.
Our first two runners at Ludlow, In The Dock and Petroupetrov, got very tired in the soft ground and ran better than the distances would suggest, but Be Bop Boru coped admirably with the conditions and, having finished runner-up on his first two starts in bumpers this autumn, he made it third time lucky yesterday, hitting the front two furlongs out and keeping on really well.
