I was very happy with the performances of all our runners at Worcester yesterday, and both House of Bourbon and Manjam ran very well coming back from absences.

We will be without a runner until Monday (when we have plenty entered at Newton Abbot), but July promises to be a busy month and we will be introducing some nice horses in the coming weeks. Term-time begins on July 1st for some of those who have been enjoying the recent sunshine in the paddocks, so today is the last day of the summer holiday for them!

The Auction of Promises being organised by the South and West Wales Point to Point Fund will go in part to the Isabel Tompsett Recovery Fund. I am delighted to hear very positive updates of Isabel Tompsett’s progress from her serious injuries sustained in a fall at Fakenham a month ago, and it is also great to see the amount of support for the auction – over £5,000 has been bid on the various lots so far, and there is still a week to go until the auction closes on Friday 8th July.

Please see below the list of lots and the current bids;
