Purchased at the Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale in December following a win in a point to point at Barbury Castle, he is from an outstanding French family, being out of a Listed chase winner, herself a half-sister to Grade 1 and Grade 2 winners.

The son of Dream Well looks a stayer in the making, so it was very encouraging to see him win his bumper at the first time of asking under Alan Johns, hitting the front over two furlongs from home and keeping on stoutly.

He has come out of the race very well and will now have a well-deserved holiday before returning for an autumn campaign over hurdles.
