PHOTO-2019-05-14-20-17-50Alltimegold has been a frustrating individual, as he has long had the ability to win races but had yet to get his head in front, finishing runner-up at Newcastle on his latest start. However, the six year old, running for the first time in the colours of Brian and Wayne Jones, finally got his head in front at Ffos Las yesterday and did so in some style, coming home 14 lengths clear.

In the front three throughout, he joined the leader over the first couple of fences in the home straight and kicked clear approaching the second-last, drawing clear for a facile success.

Though it was a modest contest, the handicapper will undoubtedly have his say, so we may look to run him under a penalty next week, with options at Hexham and Huntingdon on Tuesday.
